I saw that too but I decided to leave it…

Anyhow that was how recieved them from.listone. other than the polishing between breech end an tport … they got a.little careless with the drill and I had to polish out some tool marks on them barrels…

These ones looked better in that aspect.

Keyser “I think Dman polished the barrel before he sent it to me.” Jamie is that true ? if so how and what did you use. I’ve used the Greg Davis method before with great results.

😯

Im going to try and make some mags …..

They aren’t that complex. And I think the cycling mechanism will do just fine.

I just need to take a break from making other stuff.

Got it, thx 4 the info.
I watched the vid again, only thing is now, I want a new bullpup of some kind.
Maybe a shorty 25. lol

Fox no loctite. The reason why it feels so solid on the barrel is that the sleeve of the moderator actually goes into the front barrel band. Watch my video there’s a part somewhere in the middle of it where is show the barrel and I screw the moderator on to the barrel.

There is however a little oring that sits between the action and Barrel. if you look inside the action you will see a brass ring with a little cut out that’s where the orings sits. the easiest way to put the O-ring in is to put a little bit of Molly coat on the end of the barrel and then stick the O-ring to the end of the barrel .slide it into the action and you’re home free

Thx Soze & Greg 4 your input, good to hear the barrles like the jsb 16 gr pellets.
I like shooting them over the 18’s in the shorty too.
I have a barrel, that will be in soon, from Jamie.

Question 4 u guys……
I’ve never take my shorty apart. When I need too take the ldc off.
Does it have lock-tight, on the threads?? 🙄

How do u go about getting it off.

(Greg don’t you guys have wild roosters you shoot?)
Fried chicken, pick it up, & put some extra napkins in the bag!

A little silent death from the quiet Mutant and you’ll have peaceful mornings

YES, we do but their my neighbors u know, darn it wakes me up at 4 am …….. bang bang, pew pew maybe on day, I meant morning.

The Listone barrels are the BOMB fox, I can’t see how the CZ could out do it in the accuracy division. :winkn:
Dman left mine dirty, just how I like it ….. 😆 ….. … . thanks a whole lot D … … .. man !

nice very nice, what grain jsb’s were u using soze?? 🙄

Fox the Listone barrel seems to like the 16s the best. The barrel has a heavy choke. I think Dman polished the barrel before he sent it to me. If you have a baby Mutant I really recommend his barrel. I know a few other guys with them and they all shoot well

Oakey was with Ernest shooting last week and Ernest told me he thought it was a good barrel.

Greg don’t you guys have wild roosters you shoot?

I go by the wind also if it varies I vary also like u, if it’s constant I dope and hold on.
Not a custom to turning turret just of yet though ….. in a need to upgrade to a SS FFP.
I’m a pester (indoors and out) but do on occasion punch that paper usually to test gun/pellets, retuning and or watch gun during it’s breaking in.
At which I like to use/watch flags every 25 yards and a couple beyond POI also.

In Hawaii we have these days that have no wind at all, us locals call Kona Wind which happen here quit often.
In that when it switches over there is a dead calm like you’re in a vacuum or indoors.
Hot diggity damn, it’s the best time to shoot/pest ……..

Good shooting there Key, Yes takes a good barrel , But it also takes a good shooter,
25, 50 yards pretty common , Start these groups at 100 yards and you separate the men from the boys,
Figure of speech,

Mike

Jamie, it is really a good barrel. As you know I have zero financial interest in this barrel. I would not continuously tell people to contact you for one if it wasn’t shooting well. I know in the airgun world it is hard to believe that someone would recommend something without any financial opportunity but in reality I don’t need to make money on airguns. Thanks for the compliment.

Greg, I continuously dope. I do have a Kestrel but I don’t always use it because I need it for work. It is more important that it is at work than with my airguns. I have used the Kestrel to record wind, then I get a mental picture of bushes and mirage. I am not a target shooter per se, I like to hunt critters. I figure I will never have a squirrel hold a wind flag for me so I need to use trees, bushes, dirt, mirage or any other natural wind indicator I can find. I am trying to always touch pellets on the target. I use my turret for elevation and reticle for wind. To answer your question I find variable wind so damn frustrating. I have been to your island, I know you must deal with it all the time too. What technique do you use for wind?

Hey Keyser,

How do you like to dope in variable wind ?

Do you wait at a POA or do you continuously dope, in my above scenario would be about ± 2.5″ or 0 – 5″ ?

In the use of any flags or with wind indicators (beside the bushes), if so what kind ?

~ Thanks ~ Greg
