Kids like you (and I say kids because my daughters are 34 & 36 and will allways be kids to me) give me hope for this country!
I have been talking to a lot of 20 something people and the mood seems to be changing.
With a lot of luck and votes, we could start this once great country back on the right track.
I just hate seeing everything going down the tubes!

Unless you live in a bad area the schools aren’t TOO bad.
Mine didn’t have metal detectors, although there were rumors they were trying to get them. I also had several ocassions where I had pretty much every gun I own in the back of the car at school, usually I’d have forgotten to take them out from shooting the day before. And I always had a pocket knife, I never leave the house without one. As long as you didn’t give them a good reason to check you or your car, you were pretty much safe.
Funny isn’t it, always had a knife, and had a bunch of guns several times at school, and no one was killed?
I got a .410 for my 8th birthday. I can not remember a time that I did not carry a pocket knife. Some nights after high school, we would go shooting at a friends farm. I would have my guns in the car’s trunk while I was at school.
If I was in high school now, the metal detectors would find the pocket knife, the swat team would discover the guns and, if I lived thru the ordeal, you would see me being led away, in cuffs, on the nightly news.

Don’t read the comments under the article. Some will make you smile, but some will just remind you how many idiots live nearby and make you sick!
Had the bear been on my deck and I not been home, the biggest story would be which of my boys won the fight to be the one to shoot the damn bear!
