Q:

114 yard shooting

I just had to post this because I think its awesome. I’ve never shot my condor at anything past 75 yards and this totally impressed me. Saturday I put a coffee can out at 114 yards (same distance as some posts I want to try to get birds at). Today I came home and the weather was nice (rare for here) so I took a few shots. There were .22 Kodiaks with scope set at 12x (2.5 dot hold over at this distance – not bad!). I’ll try at 24x another day, results should be good (can probably get a few inch group!).

Good shooting BirdHunter.

Soon you will be putting pellets around 2″ at that range. No wind, watch the “cant”, consistent hold, squeeeeeeeeeeeze…

Trust me, it can be done.

Careful….you’ll find that those homes in the distance are within range also !

I’m always careful 8) But seriously, the nearest house is 384 yards away (wish my house was that big…). Unless aiming at the sky, it would easily hit pasture.

WOW good shooting 😳

Was it going all the way through? I’m just curious on how much power it has that far out. Probably plenty for a bird. Usually doesn’t take much.

Good shooting. 😀

Only one thing to say WOW nice. What kind of bird you looking to see.
