115 Shot String with a USFT
Figured i’d do some chrony time to see where my new USFT rifle falls off the velocity curve…
All I can say is “wow”!
JSB Exact Heavies, first 105 shots from 877.04fps to 908.78fps (spread of 21.74fps), 115 shots total from 1600psi to 1000psi… Just guessing but I could probably get 80+ shots within 10-12fps of spread, from 888fps to 908fps…
This rifle is UNregulated… 😕

Is it me or doesn’t it say 10.34 grains on the tin….?
0.670 grams/ 10,34 grains…
I checked and 0.670 grams is 10.33967 grains.
In Europe they use a comma instead of a period for a decimal point… Is that what they are assuming is the incorrect labeling?
If so the weight hasn’t changed at all… I have two old tins and it says 0.670 grams…

I called PA because I use these also, You were correct the weight is 10.34, not 10.34 like on the lid.

Issue I have with the PA advert is they state the weight of the pellet on the tin is incorrect yet they list the exact same weight as the tin in the description below. I guess I shouldn’t expect much from a company that took 3 years to figure out they needed to change the way they packed pellets… 🙄

The .22 JSB 18.1g with the red/black label?? I’ve shot quite a few tins through my Condor, Marauder and Hammerli and can’t say they’re any different from the old black and silver label. They still group better than anything else I’ve shot lately and killed everything that finds itself in the crosshairs 😮
I’m pretty stoked with these numbers for sure!!! And to think it isn’t even broken in yet!!! I think i’ve shot 300-400 pellets through it so far (including these 100+).
Only down side, I went through 115 of my precious JSB’s… 😀
Anyone shoot with the new JBS’s heavies? I need to order more but i’m a bit hesitant since i’ve heard they changed the design slightly…
