Q:

12” or 18” barrel????? for a nice change from stock condor

If i wanted to build up a shorter rifle for confined work, what would yu guys think would be better to go with.

The 24” condor with a 12” shroud is pretty long for close quarters, and all this edgun stuff has me broke out in a rash!!!!!

So i was thinking of playing around with a different barrel, or cutting mine and trying that . and if it doesn’t work out i could just replace it.

1.Would a 12” barrel get me to 1000fps with 21g pellets.

if i go with a 12” i can have 6” of baffling in the frame correct.be nice and short.

Any way which way would you go for what i want to do.

I think a 12″ barrel and internal shroud would be the bees knees.

I think 18″ would good, but not 12″ for sure, unless you want to convert your rifle to a pistola 😆 😆 😆

I have a 16″ barrel an a shroud by Talon Tunes and the OAL is 42″.

I shoot Kodiaks at 855 fps and CP at 955 fps with a modified valve.

If you use a condor valve and hammer weight you will get that 1000 fps I bet.

18 ” barrel is a good compromise. Lets you keep good power and is short enough(especially if you are used to the ‘broomstick’!!)

EDGUN! EDGUN!
