16.1 grain .177 cal. pellets
Anyone have any experience with these? I have a gas-spring (RX-1) that I think might be a good match for these. I posted this question on another forum and couldn’t find my post lol. What do you think about this pellet?

Hiya M8,
You will find that your gun will sound like it never has before and run the risk of serious damage to your weapon. Those EJ’s are bad ju ju in a springer, trust me as on the 5th shot, I really thought the gun was gonna explode in my face. They will seem like they are struggling to get out and the loud pop after they exit will make you wonder if you are still among the living.. 😯

…and yes, it applies to gas rammed guns.
See my reply to ASMALLVOICE on using the EJ pellets in a springer (or gas ram) in the Other Guns section … you’re going to completely change the firing behavior of your gun while producing LESS fpe than with good midweight pellets.
Springers and gas rams are different from CO2 and PCP guns in that heavier pellets often do not generate more FPE. Quite the opposite is true.
For a magnum like the RX series in .177, 10.5gr pellets are as heavy as I would go. You should be able to throw out 8.44 gr Exacts at around 900fps with that gun, which should be about ideal.
