.177 It’sall about shot placement
Hey guy’s
After 20+ years in Seal Team and as a sniper I can tell you that for back yard game /sniping up to, lets say bob cat/racoon sized game is easy, bigger game with practice. I will say that that I’m at odds, I’ve tried all the suppressor mods and none really quiet the ss as much as I would expect, any suggestions.

If your looking to really quiet that gun dowm get a shroud. The are a couple biulding them and 1 is Don G.

There are a couple of members on this board who make and sell shrouds. They will make your SS very quiet. Class number?

you got to play with the seals toys, did you ever tare down one of the suppressors? I would copy one of them 😉 (and send me a drawing of what they have inside :shock:)

I thought the same thing until someone else shot my gun while I was 50′ away and not really paying attention. Hardly heard it at all. I think when you have your face planted on the gun it sounds louder. Let someone elso try your gun and see how it sounds.

Try Don G or shrpshotr’s gig….. my nephews low end daisy 1982 lever action BB gun that I gave him is just as loud as we proved it last weekend with spectators commenting on how my .177 TSS was so way more atomically powerful than the BB gun….worth the price and great design as commented in hand by another AF enthusiast. .177 is a tad quieter than the .22.
