18" fitted and workin
hey guys iv had the day of today due to weather so iv had anuther go at fitting the 18″ barrel.
i used ingerneers calipers and to a reading from the 12″ bushes
spaced the bushes on the 18″ the same and hey presto it shoots just fine.
just killed a fly on a dog terd for the joke of it ..zero recoil is so nice
so im gonna go fill her up and have a go at some more groups tomorrw.
im home alone for the weekend ,the wife,s visting her mam.
so il just shoot all week end or untill it runs out . he he.
i sold my 12 ltr bottle with the s410…so i need a new one..
you gotta have a bottle a .

iv give up with the barrel lads. the small 12″ is on it untill bsa or hw get back to me with ther prices for a 24″ and a new 12″ in 22.
my valve will be here on saterday and my hybrid hammer is being made by leupy …a 100gr brass and derlin snap together hammer .
and a new breech and bolt is on its way and spring from david.
so we will see how things progress with the stealth..
pab and rc…im fillin to 200barr,and shooting untill the power starts to drop off..the bottle dumped when it was full with the 18″ (scarerd the hell outa me for sure,),i know 150barr is the sweet spot for most pcp,s .but untill i buy a new bottle next week iv just been fillin it to the top…cos the gun shop from here is 20 miles each way,,,,i live in the country..
pab can you tell me how your running that paint ball tank with a dail on it to see how full you are,,and how meny shots do you get from that tank and how do i get this gun regulated with e teg ????? 😉
Good point RJ. If hes shooting down to really low pressure, it WILL dump!!
I see he has no pump or scba bottle, could well be you’ve hit the nail on the head mate!!

these r the first pics ive seen of the internals of a UK version AF gun that hammer spring just looks weak get a brass hammer, heavier spring and get dave_424 to make u an aluminum breech do a few TH adjustments and u can have one fine tuned machine there
about the barrel r u sure its not maby a 20cal barrel and the 22pells arnt getting stuck in the choke or maby just the barrel is buggered up midway down what does the inside of the barrel look like

STILL HAVE BARREL PROBS..the 18″ done three four shots the dumped with the pellet still in the barrel.
its got to be the barrel cos the 12″ was fine it wasent the best pellet placment ,but at least it worked .
im gonna try to get a new 18″ from bsa .i think just for now..or a hw barrel.

Many good machinists on here, ask dave_424, he’s a UK chap, maybe he will make you an endcap. Think of a design you would like and see if he will make it. Heres mine made by Lang’ with the 18″ on

Adam, if you can, put a little longer endcap on the rifle when it has the 18″ Whilst it obviously doesn’t make it shorter, it does make it ‘look’ more compact, without a long sticky out barrel.

I got me a Wok trigger last weekend via Adam Wok and impressed with his work…my gun is a way better shooter especially on rest with it…it took out that “iffy” feel and gives you a more secure finger rest for release of the trigger…plus the stock plastic looks like cheap and insignificant for such great carbines…! Wok the world is yours okay for 15 seconds…great service too… okay 15 minutes…
