22. 2000psi reg 26.5in barrel is this good

ok i have a ss with a 26.5in .22 barrel with a 2000psi reg and an e-tac shooting at around 1000 fps to 990 for 40 shoots tank fill to 2800psi stop shooting at 2000psi o yea shooting Crosman Premier .22 Cal, 14.3 Grains
is this good for this gun or should i tune it more i been think about trying a hi-flow tank on it

actually the crosman h.p and premier, and the ultra mag shoot pretty good at 1000fps, I had them at up to 1025 just under the sound barrier for a while but it was a little too much power for around here, you get some bad ricochets thru the tree limbs at this power level. They dont shoot as well as with the power level backed off a litlle , but not bad.

I am at 950 for the most part, but when the wheather changes with temp diffferance, my tune changes my velocity, so i have just been shooting at what ever i have for a while. right now my condor is at around 890’s with the 14 grain stuff.

Shot count is irrelevant if accuracy sucks. At that speed those light pellets have to wander like Stevie Wonder on a sit and spin. Plus, your ballistic coefficient of a light pellet is no where near what 10 more grains equals and increases exponentially as the grains go up. Its a battle of ballance between speed and performance and shotcount. IMHO
