Having already built a golf ball cannon when i saw Dave424’s post on his mini cannon i had to build one too, so here it is i have fired it but its still in the testing stage to see just how much powder is needed to make it really work 😈 ….i will get video up when i get things hammered out….thanks for looking Greg

If your using blackpowder with a barrel thickness like that, you can’t put enough black powder in it to blow it up.
Your barrel is too short so it would just not hold enough powder, smokeless, well that is a different story, but with out a tight bore fitting projectile, you would be safe even with that.
Examine some of the old blackpowder handguns, they were cheap light and fragile.

yea thats what im worried about….but the thinest spots on the barrel at still .125″ and i reamed the bore to .221″ so the fit is kinda snug but still lose enough…

i do have video of the first shot but its just too embarasing to post… 😳 …first off my camera guy didn’t have a good view and then when it shot the pellet just bounced off the pallet we had it pointed at and landed next to the cannon…I need to go and get some new pyrodex and try that…then its just gonna be slowly work up the load till im happy and still in tack….Greg
