.22 Cricket Chrony String
Starting at 220bar down to 110bar using 18gr JSB’s. Ran 4 14 shot mags and 1 extra shot out of the 5th. Good luck with my hand writing.

Zocoloco, wow! First day on the forum and I get a question from one of the greats. The answer to your question is yes. The string comes from a standard 22 cal. Also, thanks for the link. On another note, although I’ve only joined this forum since yesterday, I’ve been reading and learning from you and the other greats such as Hoot, Oldgoat, and all the other knowledgeable people on this forum since February of this year. February is when my name joined the long list of others waiting for an Edgun. I ordered two r3’s, one in 22 standared and the other in 25 long. I also added a Lelya in 22 cal. back in march but from what I’ve been reading on the forum I may never get that one. Sorry guys for being long winded but like I mentioned up above, I’ve been monitoring this form for almost a year and had lots to say. PS, and that was the short version. 😀 [/img]

Your string looks very good but also adds to the mystery…. 😉
870 fps with a 18.1 grs pellet is roughly 30 fpe as you say. So far the highest “out of the box” velocity I’ve seen. Is this from a std. cal 22 ?
If so, – we need more strings folks. It appears the Crickets may be all over the place too, – but really too early to tell for sure…..

Hello Sherrod833, just a heads up. I’m new to the forum and just recently got into air gunning So I don’t know much . Now that that’s out of the away, I received my new Cricket on Christmas eve and based on your chrony string I did my own string to see how it compaired to yours. This is what I got: After filling her up to 200 bar and putting fourteen rounds through her using JSB 18.1 grain pellets I got a string of 876, 874, 870, 872, 867, 869, another 869, 871, another 871, 870, 872, 873, 871, 870. I would say that’s dam good. Unfortunately haven’t yet put in the time to properly learn how to calculate foot pounds but I do believe she’s doing 30 plus. not sure what’s going on with yours but thought I would let you know that there is hope. I’m sure you will figure it out, good luck! 😯
