Q:

22 Edgun Wait time?

Can someone who has recently received a .22 Edgun reply as to when you were put on the wait list for the rifle? I know that Tony is too busy to answer specific questions about the list and my place on it. Ive been waiting since Dec so curious if he is delivering rifles for waitlist from Oct or Nov yet.

Thanks –

EdGun

In my opinion first mistake is using UPS. I signed up for a Fedex account – which has come in handy on several occasions. If / when my name comes up I will offer to pay for my own shipment – send Tony the label. Fedex will come to the door or you can drop it off. Normally the shipper is the one who has to file the claim – which for most of you would be Tony. In my case – if I pay for the shipment on my account I can file a claim if its required.

Can you file a claim? Yes. Will they pay? Depends. Will it be a hassle? Probably
If UPS or a UPS store didn’t pack the item, they will probably tell you it didn’t meet their packing standards and will deny your claim. If UPS packs it, they guarantee that if something happens, they will cover it. If UPS packs it, they will put bright yellow “packing guarantee” stickers on the package. Also, at the time it is shipped, it is noted on their computer who did the packing. My friend owns a UPS store. UPS turns down a lot of claims

Judging from the Russian sites, it seems the wait is equally looooong in mother Russia herself……….. 😉

my impression is that it seems to depend on what you have ordered and what Ed forwards to Tony then where you are on Tony’s list

mostly .25s R3 longs seem to have came in this last shipment which left guys who ordered .177s and .22s mostly out in the cold no matter when they ordered

as for me
I placed my order with Tony end of October last year for a long .25 and received it late Spring?…roughly six months give or take

This might sound way to good but i ordered the R3 Long .25 at monday and i will have it next week 😀

Oh Yeah! Don’t ask him where you are on the list, or how long the list is, or how long your wait is. He’ll get really frustrated with you. You have to trust that you ARE on the list and when he gets his guns in you WILL be sent yours WHEN your name comes up on the list AND he gets a gun for you. I think the list is just a bunch of emails that he maybe puts into a folder. He doesn’t count them or look at them until he has something to send out. And, from what I gather, he tells Ed that he needs more and then Ed sends what he can, when he can. Tony’s in line just like the rest of us. He’s got to wait for the other countries/distributers/representatives to be sent theirs before he gets ours.

Also, you think this part of the wait is hard? Mine was send during the whole “UPS = broken stocks” debacle. Once you know it’s out of Tony’s hands and in the box throwers hands, THEN you’ve got a LONG STRESSFUL wait. For me, that was the hardest part. I filmed the opening of my gun, just in case. I would recommend doing the same thing to everyone.

I wonder if Tony has an Edgun of his own that he shoots and enjoys.[/u]

7 months for me. Then I had a part break. 😕 Been waiting close to three months for that. Tony finally got back to me yesterday and is sending me a new “assembly” instead of just the part. I think I’m getting a new hammer assembly. The gun still shoots with my “band aid” fix but I can’t reliably tune it with the fix. So, in some ways, I’m still waiting for mine. C’mon you big brown beautiful box, bring me my stuff! 😛

I ordered a .22 Matador in December of 2011 and a .25 in May 2012. I haven’t received either as of yet.

So am i holding my mouth wrong ? because i still don’t have one 🙁

Got on list beginning of Feb 2012,gun arrived in May. 3 months easy peezy 😉

My first order was about 9 months before Tony sent me an email.

average wait is about a year.

Ordered my .25 long and .22 standard in November 2011; received the .25 long in May 2012 but still waiting for the .22 standard.

I got on in early sept 2011
