Q:

.22 JSB Monsters in EdGun

Does anyone have any experience with this pellet in the EdGun?
I really liked this pellet in my Condor. Contemplating getting a EdGun and would like this pellet as a viable option. It isn’t in the FX Royale even singly loaded.
Any input appreciated.

My Condor slammed them in tiny groups at 1040 fps.. Made a few shots on starlings over 100 yards and killed woodchucks and what not like a powder burner.
Didn’t care for the length(with moderator), trigger, and seemed to have wandering POA issues so I sold the Condor and bought a FX 400. Like the rifle but it’s power leaves me wanting.
I’m thinking a.25 Matador might be what I’m after.
My JSB Monster pellet experience leaves me wanting a refined rifle that will shoot it like my Condor did.
Between it’s weight/BC it was a hell of a pellet.
Compared to Eujins the velocity difference between the two at muzzle and 30 yards grew hugely in favor of the Monster obviously due to a higher B.C. Higher launch speed, more retained velocity win/win.
I’m thinking most air rifles are twisted too slow for it except at high velocities.
the pellet is ahead of it’s time/rifles.

Those pellets sucked donkey dicks in both of my AF Guns, I liked how hard they hit, but couldn’t get any groups that were worth a shit.. Probably if not the most disappointing JSB pellets I have ever shot, and I love JSB pellets

I have not had luck with them in any of my .22 PCPs. I have .22 barrels for the Condor and Stubby.

They sucked in my R3 at 930/890fps and in the Condor 12″ barral also.

aprox 1″ groups at 30yrs
