He STILL hasn’t backed up his ‘all day long’ sub .375″ 5 shot groups at 50 yards with his MRod claims. Must STILL be windy out there for the last week plus… 🙄

Don’t waste your time guys, what we have is a classic full of shit cyber bullshitter. 😉

Shaggy:
It seems rather obvious you do not have the slightest clue regarding the differences between something semi custom and a mass produced article.

OK, let’s take a Crosman Marauder as a great example
#1…it’s a hit or miss proposition out of the box as to build quality & accuracy. Of course all that can be corrected…but guess what, that costs money. Perhaps you love that 2×4 lumber grade stock and maybe yours even shot great from the get go, Good on you!
myself I consider everything manufactured by Crosman an Air Gun kit.
Here is one of my Marauder projects and I already have twice as much just in the stock as what the rifle itself cost me:

by the time all the work is done it will easily have WELL over a grand in it with the addition of Enik upgrades, a Lothar Walther barrel and a full Citrus tune package
That’s the difference between a $300 Crosman and a semi custom piece of gear.
Same with a stock Condor versus one of Tony’s power house Custom jobs with all the bells and whistles

Same goes for ARs, 1911s…products ad nasium
what you are claiming is that since your Yugo or Le’ Car drives down the road it’s crazy to spend XXXX number of dollars on a new Hemi RT Challenger 😆 😆 😆

😀

quote Ed:

Well, just for information, about the wages, the good quality worker can earn about 1.5-2 thousand US dollars per month, taking into consideration that everybody here avoid paying taxes, that is the net money he has in hands. And that is not as much money as it seems, since the leaving price is higher here then in Europe or in States.

All guns are assembled with parts manually selected, checked and prepared. we never put a part to the gun directly from the CNC machine, you can call it hand work 🙂 The guns which were assembled in USA were just assembled, the point is that to avoid problems with the delivery we disassembled guns here and send them by parts, Tony just reassembled them again. So, you can be sure, me, personally work with EACH gun Tony have not. For the future, probably we will deliver him the guns assembled in Estonia (I do it myself as well, going there for few days).

The price of the gun doesn’t depend on the country it is made in, as the CNC machine hour cost almost the same everywhere, as the materials and workers’ time, the only thing we can save some money — logistic and I unsure you that is not the money I can take off the price, it is too small amount I would prefer to keep it to put to the development 🙂

Ed

good post Ed, I hope some of these Idiots read it but I think they will jump over it to just critisize what I say verses Logics.
Yes the AR 15 is somewhat different than it was in my Vietnam years but one of my Friends and Nephews and Uncles and Cuzins says it’s exactly like the one they use in Iraq, they have all looked at it , one acception, it is Automatic “not” full auto, so the rest of you draft dodgers and antisentimentals who would rather run to Canada than do your patriotic duty, “kiss my ass…. I just saw a remington 700 custom in a gun store scope and , like the one I bought ‘exactly” for $2200,,, thats a fools price, I got the same Identical Gun with a better Tactical scope level and range finder built in,,,, for $1007 (one thousand and seven Dollars)So be a fool or be Kool, I only ask simple questions and get a few ass bashings,, well show you D@MN ignorance if you wish, I’m $1000 dollars richer cause im not as D@mn stupid as you idiots are.. Now let me Quote it again,,, I’d love to own an Ed Gun, but I’d be willing to pay the $499 price cause it wont do any better in my hands than a Marauder or and airforce talon SS of my TT 25. Even my out of the Box condor in 25 caliber can shoot as far as you’ll kill anything with any Pellet gun, and do it with Pellet gun authority, Ive never saw even a professional peek and tweek gun do any better here on this forum or any where else. Even the Old type airforce 2 hole 22 I bought at a Pawn Shop in Princeton for $270 (Two Hundred and seventy Dollars) will shoot with any thing Ive seen here. Believe me? ok! Don’t believe me? I give a rats ass.

Walmart sells assault rifles??? Since when? What state is that??

quote LTLurker:

LOL……Shaggy here again trying to talk himself out on a EDgun. Come on Shaggy…..come down the isle, get on the list and kneel at the steps of nirvana!!!!

LOL

Synopsys,

you’re 120% right, if you buy some good stuff, it will cost more money… and it will worth every single penny you spend on it

cheers,

Ta

A LEO firearm from Walmart… 🙄

You do know that Walmart gets the shit of the shit products that don’t pass muster to go to real stores don’t you…? Yeah that’s the one that the LEO’s are supplied with, the shit rifles. 🙄

Cheap and stupid, dangerous combination right there. 😆

quote Backyardairgunner:

Couple grand there.

Nope, a couple grand doesn’t even get you the top rifle… 😉

And let me tell you from experience in owning less than expensive ($500) and expensive ($2000) airguns (something that ol Walmart Shaggy doesn’t have) it’s worth every single fucking penny. 😀 😎

serious apples and oranges comparison there
1st off the Colt AR15 has been in production for some 50 years
it is not semi custom. It is a mass produced item of indifferent quality
well unless you go semi custom and in that case rifles built with all the custom bits can easily hit well above three grand
short story is Colt and most other production AR type rifles really are not anything special
you might want to research what JP Enterprises charges for a full tilt AR build

A better comparison would be with a SD Meacham 1885 High Wall
now that IS a semi custom article and you may want to look up how much they cost

2nd…You had stated you thought they were starting to be made here
Ed is interested in that option but I just don’t know if it would lead to a less expensive product…assembling here is one thing, manufacture?
are you actually trying to say machinists in the Russian Republics are paid the same wage scale as they are in the USA?

Yes 4K is pretty tongue in cheek 😆 😆 😆

there has never been an ed gun sold for $4000…. well at least dollars that is

LOL……Shaggy here again trying to talk himself out on a EDgun. Come on Shaggy…..come down the isle, get on the list and kneel at the steps of nirvana!!!!

quote Riverside:

I don’t think that was US built but rather assembled here with Rooski bits

reality is I don’t think you should want your Edgun made in America as it would likely cost even more given wages in Russia or Estonia versus here

good example are the extremely high grade long range tang sights currently made in the Ukraine
anything remotely close in quality manufactured in the USA is nearly twice the price of the Ukrainian product

these are semi custom weapons, they will never be cheap or widely available
think Tim’s USFT and that one has no real stock

I was in the mind set that eatch Ed Gun was built by Ed, That was my understanding. So what is assembling here in the USA by Tony, going to make them too expensive? Then there is the $4000 price tag ROFLMBO. For a Pellet gun? I just bought a Colt AR-15 at Walmarts for $1000 and it came with 2 ten round magazenes, its the Law enforcement version and even has the high Military pep and open field sites, So if a gun of that quality “Colt” is $1000 what makes you think The mark up is going to be so High for an Ed here in the USA?

Nice hardware!!!!!!

Nice hardware!!!!!!
