22 Mutant # 1 reach for gun
If I did not have three other PCPs in the safe the Mutant 22 is the one I would reach for every time.
Dead accurate, super quite, Fat boy helps and looks super cool, Both my 25 Veteran shorty and my 22 mutant shorty set on my lowered pistol shelf in the safe, Love the fat boys keeps them short and quite,
The crickets set down with the rifles just a little harder to get to, And they have the 7&8 inch LDCs on them.
I think the Crickets need a fat boy, Cool factor 10 if all my guns had fat boys , short . light and quite,
oops I got that 177 Vulcan coming in , If it does need a LDC it will need the famous Donny fat boy…

I hear ya on keepin’ it short. I’ve been eyeballin’ this case from Amazon for some time now. It drops to $35 time and again. It’s a 36″ and my Veteran with Ronin or Sumo on fits it, but just barely. I want added protection to the front and rear of the gun and it’d be pushin’ it without needing to unscrew the LDC every time.

I been eye balling Donny’s stuff,
I do think the Vulcan may need an adapter to fit the regular threads,
I know the older ones did, but I think there is a lot of new improvements on the new Vulcans just to keep up with all the new stuff coming out, The new and improved cocking arm is stranded with my gun, That was a BIG selling point, But I am about 80% sure I am going to need a LDC (old school) on the gun,
This is one gun I am going to try really hard to keep short,
Now my fat boys only add 4 inches, That’s not much , But when you add it to 23 inches it starts to add up,
But they look way cool.

I ordered a new TATSU with adapter for my 25 Veteran Shorty coming in from Donny soon.
I already have one on my 22 Mutant Shorty and love it ……
Fat Boy weighs in at 7 oz and the new TATSU weighs only 4.6 oz AND it’s a bit quieter too !

177’s are quite quiet compared to larger cals out of box ….. but if you want it more so the 22 TATSU would do.

I got two of the 36 inch cases , I have to unscrew the LDCs on my Cricket 22 & 25
Never had the mutants in the case , I know they will fit,
So many locks on the case I took two of them off, Pretty easy to do , Just a pin if I remember right.
