.22 Predator vs 1" sheet of Ice
This is what happens to the predator pellet when it hits a chunk of ice at about 32 yards 😮
Launched it with the .22 TSS

What velocity are you hitting with your SS?
I shot some pellets into modeling clay with my Condor, the predators rolled inside out until the top half separated from the skirt. The top half was a donut of lead.
Crow Mags did the same thing.
Unfortunately, the ice didn’t make it. Once hit the ice just fell to pieces, and slowly melted away.
It was sad, there was nothing we could do 😥
Tried to gather up the pieces (best we could) 😥
Placed them in ice chest, but they melted away on the way home. 😥
We were in the middle of nowhere, no freezer,,,,
We all felt so helpless. 😥
Time to make more (this may take a video, the process is very cool)

But no matter what the pellet looks like, the million dollar question is: WHAT DID THE ICE LOOK LIKE BEFORE AND AFTER. ?? 😉
ps: as you already know, Ice cubes are very fun targets. Grab a handfull, throw em out in the yard and blast away. a hit gives a very gratifying explosion of ice, and there is no mess to clean up afterward.

That looks cool. What size is that pellet after the ice? it looks like it could be as big as a .25cal.
