.22 R1 Finally Tested

Finally I had some fun with my .22 R1. Never got the chance to test this rifle beyond 25 yards. I have zeroed it at 25 yards with the most accurate pellet – 15.8 gr. JSB. The rifle is simply drills one hole groups at 25 yards when I do my part. At 50 yards it easily groups ¾”! The scope I chose for this gun is Legend set on 10 power. Trigger is set at 2 lbs and breaks nicely.

The rifle shows excellent accuracy at long ranges so next time I take it out, I will stretch it out to 80 yards and then make a range card.

I had doubts about keeping this rifle, but after seeing its potential I now have doubts about selling it. I think one day I will send it to Watts for a carbine + shroud conversion.
