Q:

.22 Rapid Arms hybrid build

Well, Ive sold/used most of the parts of my AA S410 when I stripped it.

So basically, Im planning on bolting the Air Arms breech, bolt and barrel onto a rapid style block action.

This is what I have at the moment

Im debating on weather to use tube as the resivoir or use my 500cc AF tank.

Also debating on weather or not to go bullpup.

This rifle is going to be my 12 FPE UK legal air rifle.

Used mostly shooting from a truck (Bullpup would help), birds inside barns and ratting around a wood yard.

I think tube resivior (Will get over 100 shots at 12FPE) bullpup with custom shroud. Should be interesting

😛 Only just got what you meant Pab.

Almost got prototype 1 done, the main function of that brass bar is working. I now need to attach the tube to the “Brass thingy” and to my valve to see if it works.

Ive been on holiday all of last week but am getting back to the daily grind this week.

I might just rig up a water bowl and auto-refilling cereal bowl in the workshop, lock the doors and wire my hands to the lathe controls. 😛

You been doing anything else Dave, or have you still got that lump of brass looking at you?? 😉
