Q:

22 rimfire or a super 10-22

I got over the 22 rimfire thing many years ago, Used to go out and shoot a brick of shells every day, (weekend)
But looking at these super duty slick 10-22 guns that zonk ordered from Tony Kidd custom 10-22 .
A super duty super accurate 22 rimfire might be fun,
Pretty limited shooting in my neck of the woods, But looks fun.

Slow but sure hopefully… House should vote soon. If they remove them from the National Firearms Act they I predict Walmart will carry them eventually. There would be no registration, no wait, and no $200 transfer fee. The anti-noise pollution folks should be happy and the hearing professionals. Donny would be dancing. ๐Ÿ˜›

“Duncanโ€™s proposal would eliminate those requirements, as well as refund the transfer tax to anyone who has purchased a silencer since October 2015.”

Our gun stores carry them and try to make it as easy as possible but the wait is ridiculous. The restrictions have the prices hiked at least double IMO.

Nope, it’s a two stage trigger. I almost got the 3oz two stage trigger but with shooting from inside the truck out west I figured 6oz would be safer.
Check out the video on Kidd’s web site on his two stage triggers.

Would be cool when they passed that bill on mods.
That’s the thing that’s stopping me from getting back into burning any powder ……

The snake fluted barrel on the Volquartsen 10/22 makes me gleam like a kid before Halloween, but still it would be a far second compared to the Kidd.

6oz trigger …… don’t go full auto on the recoil ?

That’s what I paid. Toys are us.

I can buy one but it is $200 to the Fed plus nearly $300 for the moderator. Too much of a rip off when they should sell for $100 at Walmart.

quote SECoda:

I would need a moderator in my backyard and they have not passed that bill yet. ๐Ÿ˜

That sucks Coda. I can put mine on my ruger mk 2 and on my Kidd.

I was looking at the Kidd .22 last year at the NRA convention and decided I wanted one right then and there. Ordered it right then and I’m sure glad I did. The two stage 6oz trigger is everyone’s dream on a 10-22. Shot over 3000 rounds in June P-doggen out west and not one jam or malfunction. I went with the all stainless 18″ barrel for ease of handling in the truck.

I would need a moderator in my backyard and they have not passed that bill yet. ๐Ÿ˜
