.22 short vs .25 pellet
Is it safe to say that a .22 short at 29 grain and about 1000 fps has about the same power as a .25 31 grain pellet at about 950 fps?

with lightly modified valve you can exceed the power level of the 22 short . 29 grain bullet i believe at right at 1000 fps. that’s about 71 foot pounds of energy ..
i have ran 32 grain 22 cal eunjins at 1100 fps, out of my condor, that’s right at 85 foot pounds of energy,,better accuracy with this pellet was right at 950 fps. that’s right at 64 foot pounds, pretty close to the 22 short, and that’s with 3/4 to 1” groups at 50 yards.
so a 25 cal should be able to beat the 22 short fairly easy , and be more accurate ,,
