Q:

.223 Condor

Hi guys,

just made some pics of my Condor. I had a Talon SS since summer 2007, i sold it because i wanted a Condor. I got my Condor mid december.

One thing`s for sure, i`ll never be without an Airforce gun ever in my life.

I fitted a .223 barrel in it, i`m shooting solids with it, up to 49 grain. The barrel is a heavy piece of iron, diameter is 20 mm. It eases down recoil pretty good. The gun`s doing about 90 fpe in original setting, PW at the max and the original hammerspring and hammer.

On one of the pics there`s the Hanserfaust valve. Made bij Hans from the Dutch airgunforum. Somewhere next week i`m gonna get my extra bottle for the Condor, i`m gonna screw the Hanserfaust valve in it and i`m pretty curious bout what`s gonna happen!

There`s a ZOS 10-40X60 SFE scope on it. Not too expensive but worth every euro.
A Hogue on the grip makes the grip a little better.

I know this is not the most extravagant Condor anyone has ever seen, but this one`s mine ya know? A simple hard hitting mofo. That`s what i like.

Take care.

Now those are what I’m seeing when I close my eyes and think of
kick butt projectiles leaving my AirRifle barrel. ➡

P.S. – what’s typical fpe with the Air Force TSS18″ barrel @ about 3200 psi – P. Dial about 11 in ,22 cal? I’d be curious about 40 or so yards.

roel13: Those pics of just shooting the shit (buckets, doors, etc.) remind of myself. Impressive & fun feeling about it huh? 🙂

Hi,

forgot a promise. I told ya guys to post some pics of some victims.

Take a peek.

Hi guys,

this evening my spare bottle arrived, it`s a bit shorter than the original Condor bottle, but it`s thicker. This on`s 70 mm, the real McCoy is 60 mm in diameter and is about 70 mm longer.

It`s a cold bottle, there`s no cover.

The bigger valve has an opening of 6.8 mm, the original Condorvalve is 5.2 mm. I just discoverd the tophat doesn`t fit the breech, so there`s a job on the lathe waiting for me, it`s 0.3 millimeter too big in diameter, so i`m gonna have to get that off.

Hope i get the chance to do that, i wanna shoot the gun with the Hanserfaustvalve.

There`s another pic of the valve, take a look and enjoy. Need measurements? Send me a PM and you`ll get it.

See ya around.

Hi guys,

thanks!
I`ve been thinking about a Wok-like thing to complete it. Richard, my co-admin on the Dutch airgunforum, has got a Wok on his Condor. It`s the first one i`ve seen over here in Holland, and the Wok is what i thought it was: Well made, goodlooking. Completely unlike Richard! He`s an ugly piece of work!

I`ll see if i can get my sorry excuse for a brain into gear and come up with something.

When i get home from work i`ll drop some pics from some victims.

See ya.

Dude…….. that is one bad ass looking Condor. Throw a WokButt on there to top off the look.

just wanted to stop by and say AWESOME looking gun you got there…shoot us some groupings whenever u get time and show us the power of what that canon can do to objects…have fun out there

Hey ho,

yeah, i`d like to see some groups too! Been shooting on the 50 metretrack laast wednesday. The 49 grainers surprised me. Lowest in speed best in grouping. Best group was about 2 inches. I don`t know how good that is. It`s hard to concentrate when you`re grinning like a frigging mad man, enjoying the recoil and the noise. When i`m used to those things i`ll give it another try.

See ya, Roel

always something diff on this from thats why i love it here and thats a nice gun

I want to see some groups…especially long range… 😀 😀 😀

90fpe, another awesome looking beaut!!!

Hoi,

yeah, the Condor is loud, like it should be. Just like loud pipes are saving lives. I think it`s very important that a Condor, or any airgun, is being heard. In that way everybody knows whats hap`ning. It saves lives. 😆

See ya.

Roel

Sweet a .223, I bet it really barks out loud 😀

Looks to be like same as powder shot slugs

Hi,

here are two pics of the solids i`m using. Varying from 31 to 46 grain.
