2240 shrouds
anyone with 2240s do the shrouds quiet them down or are they fo looks?
also what is the best power adjuster out there
and if i switched mine to pcp can i use one of the 4500 psi carbon fiber tanks they have 44 and 68 ci tanks for 119 and 149 at local pb shop and will fill for 2 bucks would i get quite a few filles outta one of these tanks

I bought one of this guy’s shroud for a Disco and it tamed it down pretty good, I was amazed actually.
Pretty cheap too.

i am going to order an adjuster and valve from mtn air and a shroud from tko

If your careful you will not blow it up and it’s not that hard. The needle valve will go between the fill tank and the gun and it will help slow down your fill process when a unregulated 4500psi tank is used. I think you will like a 2240 PCP setup more so than CO2 and many guys fill with out a needle valve.
Can’t you fill a 4500psi tank to only 3000psi or doesn’t work that way? Only a question.
i dont wanna blow it up i may just bulk it on 3.5 oz co2 tank make it safer
A paintball 4500/68 will have a reg on it so won’t work for what you want.
filling a small reservoir is a tricky and dangerous procedure.
A 3,000 psi SCUBA tank would make it less so compared to 4500 that is.
The pump advice is the safest method for filling such a small reservoir.

he said i can get the 68 cu tank for 110 and they do first 10 fills free after that it is 2 bucks
I would use a small needle valve when filling from 4500psi just to be on the safe side with a PCP setup 2240. And if you have a gauge on the gun that would really help by having two sources to look at as long you have a gauge on the tank.

gotcha… makes sense. Word of caution though. Be careful not to overfill… especially if you use the tiny 2240 tube as your air tube. Doesnt take much to overfill one of those smaller tubes!
