2250 on its way :)
getting this at the end of the week, King ratty with Gmac camo stock, 18″ polished barrel and Carbon fibre silencer, most giddy.
The adapter takes either the 12g powerletts or a paint ball airsource bottle, any suggestions on brand? idealy a regulated one.
just need a nice scope for it now as the one with it is very basic.

If you’ll copy the way weirauch(?) LDC is sound dampened, you’ll find it SOOOOOO quiet ….do a “search” , you’ll find it.
As far as parts and stuff, and you being in the UK, I think GMAC is gonna be your best bet…there are a gazillion in the US, but shipping costs would kill ya…. I STILL being lovin’ the CAMO on that gun !!!
Picked the ratty up today, imaculate condition and the Silencer is the logun CF model so pleased with that but will need improving with some sound proofing internaly as i’ve read the plastic body does not contain the sound all that well.

OOPS!! I did not notice that you DO have a long barrel..the one on my gun is only 16 inch..I highly recommend you get a Disco hammer spring..it’s a little stronger and would probably give you the extra fpe you’re looking for…you can always trim off like 1/2 coil at a time until you get it down to under the 12FPE limit…let us know…I foe one lOVE the 22XX guns 😀 😀 😀
Thanks guys and yes packrat that sounds like a plan.its pushing 10.4-10.9 after a few shots just with the longer barrel so my thoughts were to get a better hammer spring if possible to bring it up to power and get a regulated bottle in the 9oz size to keep things compact. Ive heared you carnt fit a power adjuster in these,is that right?
Any thoughts on the carbon look silencer,not seen it first hand yet but from the pics it kind of spoils the camo/chrome look. Hoping its the logun one as it can be sound proofed well.
SCHWEEEEET !!! The 2250 has always been my favorite of all Crosmans..and the CAMO stuff just makes it look even better 😀 😀
Why not modify the valve and go with an HPA regulated bottle? I built one like that and at 1500psi, using 10.5g pellets (.177 ), it shoots 12.4 fpe.
If you regulated it to say 1300-1400 psi you’d be under the 12fpe rule—-just a thought

2250’s are getting hard to find, that is a nice one, Walmart is selling 9 oz. bottles now for 20 bucks I think.

Did the mod to the silencer and tested on my stealth for comparason,you only here the hammer now 😉 so the rattys going to be whisper quite. Not allowed it until xmas,present from the wife so dont want to rock the boat there !!
