Yep, it happens. If you search back you can probably still find the thread by me trying to figure out why my gun started shooting at 1300fps. Lack of sunscreens on the chrony. That’ll do it. 🙂
I don’t put much into home cameras audio capabilities
So in saying that, he is either using Helium OR, like most chronys without the sunscreens while shooting outside, you get high readings
I’ve done it a couple times myself and realized i was getting high reading cause i shot out it out in the direct sunlight with no screens. His muzzle is also too damned close to the chrony. THEY WILL READ MUZZLE BLAST and it gets mistaken for bullet speed.
My buddy about 2 years ago made me a different hammer for my DS454 and after he installed it, he was getting right at 1000fps using roundballs. I told him he should only be seeing about 850+- fps and he was like nah dude, my hammer made your gun a powerhouse. WHen i got it home, it was only shooting about 842 FPS IIRC…….lol! MY BUDDY WAS SHOOTING IN THE SUNLIGHT WITH NO SHADES ON.

Gun wasn’t loud enough to be on the juice. Almost doubles the noise of the .25

Unless he is paying a whole lot of money for a fill,it would appear he is a ledgend in his own mind.
Jack Haley said he was getting in the 1400’s I think it was with the 50 grain bullets, but is 1500 FPS even physically possible with HPA?

Chrony is out of calibration. I don’t see any gun pushing anything that fast.
i don’t hear that crack sound by going supersonic at 1480 fps…

sign up here and do his research and even then he might not achieve minute of squirrel at 165 in .25.
