Q:

.25 and .30 Cricket shoot (my farthest shot yet, 124 y!!!!!)

Went on an amazing shoot this weekend. Matt and I shot our crickets on this beautiful blood orange orchard and chicken farm. The ground squirrels are so prolific that they started to decimate the egg production and that’s were we came in. I shot my .30 cal cricket off shooting sticks in the seated position, Matt shot from the prone since he had bipods mounted on his .25 cricket. The average distance were from 60-90 yards. The farthest shot I ever made was at 124 YARDS on a squirrel. Unbelievable!!! I shot the squirrel in the seated position with shooting sticks with of course the aid of Matt calling out the dope!!! Wind was swirling around from 10-20 plus mph!!! Matt called out a 3 mil to the left and with ONE shot, the squirrel crumpled and rolled off the boulder!!! Of course we had to hike out and see the results of the shot. But, of course these zombie-squirrels would get up and scurry back into their holes!!!! Just to show how tough these GS were…Matt and I both took separate shots at different GS at almost 15-20 yards chest shots and they would get up and run!!! Here are the pics!!! Thanks again.

here’s chairgun and what i used. I used the bottom bar and just held over instead of adjusting my turrets. I am using a nikko stirling night-eater scope with extended mil-dots!!

Do you mean the “Generic Mil-Dot” data ? It´s there amongst the Reticles.

Ville he was referring to the reticle his scope has and since chair gun doesn’t have an extended mil reticle he used that one.

Not this time Renval, all we saw was a garter snake. As soon as this weather we’re having clears up we’ll see about getting you down here.

Yeah! Let me know, you guys might need a triple tap on those zombie squirrels! 😀
