.25 Cal Cricket at 71FPE Shot string
Been Fine tuning again to see the limitations of the .25 Cal, this time testing the 43.2 gr. Eun Jin pellet. They barely fit in the mag as you can see. I’m sure I can take on a Hog at 25Y. Next is to test for accuracy with this tight groups it look promising. Also Tested the H&N Baracuda Hunter at 27.4 gr shooting at 1010fps and vary consistent speed, at that speed with a hollow point it will make a big mess and the Polymag going at 1021fps. The hardest pellet tested was the Accu Pell at 27.8 gr speeding to 986fps. All the pellets will be tested for accuracy and find the go to pellets and challenge the Kings!

I would not want to be shot with that Ein Jin at any range!
It is interesting how powerful the Cricket is. I was very surprised to see it tossing the 43gr over 850 fps!
Would you like to try some lead slugs? I have two sizes in .25 caliber…48 and 52gr, I can send you some to test if you wish. Just drop me a PM with your address and I’ll get some out to you in the mail.
These were custom made by a fellow whose forum name is “Pentode” over on the Yellow. They fit tight in the .25 Edgun Long, and would likely have to be single shot in the Cricket. I’m having some trigger work done on my Edgun Long, so I can’t give any performance details at this time. Might be interesting to compare the two bullpups with the same pellets and see what results. I’m curious to see how much fpe the Cricket can develop using a slug vs. a pellet. Fps would go down, but will the fpe go up???
