Q:

25 cal. Domed or Hollow Point pellet video.

This is a video shooting JSB 33.95 gr. pellets and H&N Baracuda Hunter 27.47 gr. pellets at some apples.
You will see the same results with Starlings, Ground Squirrels and Pigeons. Boom, lights out.
The Baracudas shoot almost exactly like the JSB 25.39 gr. domes, out to 100 yards. Only about a 1.25″ POI lower at 100 yards.
At 60 yards a Starling sounds like a gun shot in the top of a tree. The H&N is a good humane choice for pests in my opinion.

Wow. That video is quite dramatic. I expected that there would be difference between the two pellets but nothing like the video showed. Question – is the difference that dramatic if you compared the hollow points with the JSBs 25. grain pellets?

Yes. The 25.39 do the same. All domes I’ve shot are that way. I just was surprized to find out that an airgun H.P. pellet would work that well.
I’ve been shooting and testing them for about 9 months, and I always have 1 mag. full in my Cricket.
Not all H.P. .25 cal. pellets pass the test. Most fail the accuracy test past about 30 yards.
Another really good H.P. .25 are Rat Sniper Slugs. I’ve got 500 in the mail right now. 31 gr. hard hitting accurate H.P. slug for larger game.
Hope that helps……….Happy shootin’.
