Well Guys,
I guess the cat is out of the bag.
Yes we already ordered the P-12 in .25 cal.
It will be a couple of months out, but we ordered plenty of them, so no worries.
The P-12, will have no problems in the larger bore at all.
So far, all of the SPA PCP types have proven to have plenty of power to spare.
The M-10 is no exception, and is in our current shipment already.
Out of the box, the M-10 is rolling the 18.1 at 1070 fps.
First tune, got 910-950 and sure to get even better with more trigger time.
The M-10 needs a lil trigger refinement, but all the parts are there, just needs a little tweaking.

My .25 P12 is a prototype that SPA asked me to build for them so there was no such thing as “factory settings”. They sent me a bunch of new .22 components to modify into .25cal parts. The .25cal figures I got were with the factory .22 hammer and valve springs but the .22 valve ports and transfer tube were opened end up to .25cal specs.
I have given SPA’s engineer all the related drawings and data including .25 cal barrel internal dimensions and they have built their own prototype including a .25 barrel which was a first for them.
I have not yet tested their .25 prototype so I cant comment on the “factory” figures or accuracy and air usage as yet… SPA have offered to send me the .25 cals but as some of you know Im a little pre occupied with other things at the moment and finding the time to play with even my own toys at the moment is challenging..

Yeah, I figured it would require a lot of air, but if the shot count is reasonable, I will be o.k. with that. I understand that you have other projects and interests on your plate than the P-12, but still hoping that you do eventually find the time to inspect the production model of the .25 before they arrive here. At the same, I am confident that Michael will make sure/insure that they are functioning as they should be before he ships any out. 🙂
If it turns out that mid 900s is using up to much air, I would have no problem adjusting the power down to the low 900s in an effort to increase the shot count, as long as I can maintain accuracy of course. I guess the 35-grain will dictate what fps it is most happy at anyway…could be that it’s 850-fps?
Anyway, I am looking/searching for more information on exactly how one goes about adjusting the power on the P-12, gotta a link for me by any chance? Would be greatly appreciated!

I just got an e-mail from Michael over at mrodair and he says that they have already ordered the P-12 in .25! That’s pretty awesome!
Hoping that any and all suggestions given to SPA from wingman and Michael of mrodair have been applied to the final production model of the .25 P-12!
Michael says that he expects them in 2-months from now!
Not sure I should be sharing this news, as I want to make sure I too get one! 😀
Well, just thought yall might like to know this information,
agw.
p.s. I asked if I could send a deposit and now just waiting for his reply.
35grs at mid 900s is achievable but will demand a lot of air…

I believe SPA has the .25 cal P12 ready to roll but check in with Mike at Mrodair as it will depend on what he intends to import. He may even convert one for you right away.
Thank you very much for the prompt reply! Actually just finished hammering out an e-mail to him in reference to a .25 P-12. At 5′-8′ and 155-pounds, I need something compact, easy to shoulder and light-weight and again, a very good friend of mine held the P-12 back in May at the GTA Fun-Shoot and said that it was very light in weight. I am still floored that I am even considering a bp, but man, I do love that P-12!
If I can get the .25 P-12 to sling 35-grain lead in the mid 900-fps range, that will be incredibly awesome! I will of course adjust the power accordingly.
wingman, is your .25 P-12 tuned or was the numbers you posted from a factory stock version?
Best Regards,
aero.

Wingman, I’m new here and was hoping to get the latest news on the possibility of owning a .25 P-12? Also, am I to understand that you were getting 1100-fps shooting the .25 JSB Kings before any valve tuning? I am/was hours away from ordering a .25 Hatsan AT44 Long with synthetic stock, but after having seen this thread, I’m willing to hold out for a .25 P-12!
I have a small build/frame and need something light and compact, so I feel that the .25 would be the better way for me to go. If not, I guess I could drop the .25 AT44 into a custom bullpupnstock…much like your Mrod bullpup stock and be better off that way?
Look forward to your reply.

If a they can come up with an accurate .30 barrel by all means bring it… if not .357 is the next best + there is more ammo avail for 357
There is no reason not to offer a .25. When you look at the other popular manufacturers of bullpups they offer a .25.
They will only sell in countries that allow calibers larger than .177 or .22 (duh) but the silly Americans are power crazy anyway. 😆
Bring it. :8:
So….. who’s up for a thirty cal. ? :suprisedn:
not too sure as to whether or not the 25 cal will sell as well as the 22
thats a tough question man. people have and i mean a lot of people have a 25 cricket. or a m-rod/synrod.
maybe those who have been waiting for an affordable 25 pup will bite but numbers are uncertain at this moment because we havent even gotten to see the newly refined versions that were just sent out.
maybe after ted does his review peoples songs will change but untill then i have no clue and only time will tell.
I bit on the 22, my order is set when taxes come in, 5-7 weeks out and cant wait. so maybe after some praise will a 25 be an option.
lets let peoples thirst be quenched before they get hungry

Do you know whether they sell barrels from SPA yet?
Sent from my GT-I9500 using Tapatalk
That is sweet… I think they should offer it in compact, std and long… both .22 and .25…. 357 sounds really good too
was it different from the previous one? if so in what ways?
They did indeed, it was a std .22 valve sent to me so I could open up the port sizes for the .25 cal.
I have sent all related .25 cal P12 info to SPA’s engineer and they will be making me a production prototype with a SPA made .25cal barrel shortly.
I have also suggested lenghtning the.25cal P12 80mm to bring the shot count back to that of the .22 and it will also help with the noise suppression.
SPA also asked me what sort of numbers of the .25cal should they produce.. In my opinion they will sell as many .25 cals as the .22 cals maybe even more.. what do you guys think?

i guess you cant keep everything a secret for too long mike, good news is this will just up your exposure and get more orders further expanding the reach of the p-12 to more dimensions then previously thought.
the real question is will the tactical stock fit the 25 cal version?
