Q:

.25 cal R3 long velocity #’s

Hi,

I was able to shoot a 72 string this afternoon with my R3 .25 cal long gun. Here is a picture with the results. I used unsorted jsb kings and a prochrono digital with the indoor lighting kit. Muzzle was about 5 inches from the first sensor.

My gun was tuned by OG. He’s an OG :7:

thanks for looking in,

Gabe

Old Goat is THE MAN and a gentleman, very cool of him to give up his reg and wait…

OG and Ted have done quite a bit for the EdGun brand!

Looks very similar to mine. It will tighten up a bit more as the shot count passes 5k then 10k.
Unsorted pellets are a bit of variable as well as there is as much as a full grain difference from lightest to heaviest.

For sure. OG did me a huge favor last year when my gun took a shit. He discovered the reg was defective and used his own on mine while he received the replacement from Tony. I owe him for that favor. He didn’t have to but he did. Great guy!

After shooting the r3 over the past year, I finally decided to do a proper shot string. I did a few 20 or 30 shot strings before just to see if it was shooting good. I was pleasantly surprised at how tight it is shooting.

Now I need to find a spot where I can shoot for longer distances.

Thanks,

Gabe

Very great shot count,

Old Gout, i am in Iraq, how can i send mine to you when i get it? hahahaha

Fucking fantastic!!!

67 shots with a max of 10fps spread.

70 shots with a max of 16fps spread.

For a 25 that is WICKED!!!

Nice job OG! :8:

One of the best shot count and spreads I have seen to date from an EdGun in 25.
