Q:

.25 Condor from Talon Tunes (100 yard capable?)

I have been doing some looking around and getting some info on Air Rifles. From what I have seen AirForce make some pretty good air rifles that can have some cool upgrades 😉 I would just like to know if the .25 condor upgrades. Is that a pretty good one to hit at 100 yards with some decent energy and velocity still? I do understand a little about what pellets and grains and what which ones do what. So maybe if anyone is willing to let me know what I need to do for all this to go down or if it is even possible. Thanks a lot for your help glad to be a new member.

Most defiantly I thought about what kind of stock/butt and I am getting the FX stock from Tony. I also got the tri-rail and bi-pod so I hope I can do pretty well with the set up. I have not considered the trigger guard yet, but in your opinion does it help enough to be worth buying? I am having Tony build the AAA Condor pretty much for Jerry’s slugs and get the most out of the air rifle to make those slugs hit hard.

yes, they are worth it, they stiffen up the receiver. flex in the receiver area can effect accuracy. that being said, i don’t know if that guard will work with the FX forearm or not . better ask Tony. yeah, i want to try Jerry’s slugs myself.

Sounds hella bad ass with the upgrades and what not, glad it works out for you well. I hope my Condor will be bad ass and does what I hope it can do. Well keep shooting and making your air rifle even more sick gearhead. Let me know when you might be doing some shit to it like to see were it ends up.

now worry i have a 24 in barrle i have a once piece valve i made out of 303 stanless and a 65 gram hammer i set my barrle back to the point only a kodiack will fit o ring mod in the breach and valve vented bushing and a custom shroud i made . and im only filling to 2100 can fill more to get more power/shots (but hay 4 shots in a row at that distence no complants here lol.) and i have a factory spring and my seting is on 2/8 i boug it off some one on this site as a stock talon ss . and trust me im stoked at what it dose it took me a lot of time and evey one loves to shoot it and when ramdom people can hit ice cubes at 50 yard im even happer because at that point u know when people miss it there falt not the gun. so i feel im pritty good lol not the best but dam good. and im glad u asked what i have done

Yeah I hear ya gearhead these things seem to be capable of lots of upgrades but unfortunately that takes money as well, lol. It has taken me a little while to save up to even be able to order the condor. Hopefully you will get yours to were you want it. But it seems to be pretty damn good cause your making longs shots. So what all do you have done to it already if you don’t mind me asking?

thanks u yamaha. but from what i hear tony is a pritty dope gun smith. never got a dam thing from him but ill say he dam good . because i want the best and i hear of him and other people that are great tunners.( so u know u want the best) so some people gotta pay but u get what u pay for. im just luckey that im good at what i do and yes my (woken up talon ss) i feel is dam good and where talken 120yards+ with a 21.14 match grade kodiac .22 that killed that bird and no one but 4 in a row so iv gotta say that not luck. so i hope your gun u get is dope as fuck becaus i want more out of my gun but i just cant pay u know. but peace out …. for now

when it comes to pellets, mine seems to like kodiak match. you might want to consider a WOK-15 trigger guard and a tri-rail it really stiffens the receiver up , big help with accuracy, if you haven’t already. a WOK-butt is a pretty nice piece, too. makes it a whole lot easier to get the gun high enough for a good cheek weld.

Yeah I am so looking forward to getting my AAA Condor and the good thing is right out my front door I can shoot it as far as it can be shot. Sounds like your talon ss .22 is pretty bad a$$ if your killing birds that far out. Very nice gearhead. I’m waiting on Tony to build mine but he can take as long as he wants because I know he does good work. (Cant rush quality you know)

fuck yeah 100 yards with no worrys i just hit some birds a 122 yards with a talon ss .22 ( with my custom upgrades) so tonys guns have to be great.

Its cool that some of the users on this forum have the AAA Condor from Tony. That’s why I decided to order one from him because what I found is these are one of the best in the .25 caliber. Once I have the 100 yard mark down I will start trying further distances and find its range. Looking forward to all the target practice I will need to do so I fully understand the power ad accuracy of Tony’s AAA Condor.

you will not regret your decision 😀 i also have a AAAcondor from Tony, finally got some trigger time this weekend, this thing is a friggin’ jackhammer :8: :8: :4: worth every penny. ( just don’t let my ol’ lady know how much i dropped, i’ll be persona non grata in the happy place for at least 6 months 🙁 ) . got consistent dime-sized groups at 50 yds. should be capable of 3/4-1″ at 100 yds. easy , if i do my part. that remains to be seen. Tony, i can’t thank you enough, you really know your stuff

I bought my Talondor used on here. The guy sent me some 7 ring Jerry’s slugs. I tested it on mine and it got 94.99 (95) foot pounds of energy with that slug Figuring on 450400. Pyramyd air has a ballistics testing part on their site and my calculations is a little lower than theirs. I can’t pick one of my Air force Rifles from the other depending on what you use it for. Tony does good work. ➡
