Q:

25 Cricket Shroud (LCD) ordered

I have had a Donny’s shroud for my 22 cricket for a few months , Best money I have spent on the Cricket besides my Hawke scope…
Got my 25 Cricket coming in from Earnest Thursday 09-18-14 , So I just ordered a Donny’s shroud for the 25 , Price went up but for 75 bucks I am sure its going to be the best things so far on the 25 Cricket.. If you want a quite air gun talk to Donny, His price and deals can not be beat, Not trying to sell his product, Just a good guy to deal with,,,
I got a 3x9x32 UTG bug scope I will be shooting until the piggy bank lets me buy another Hawke scope, Got some smoken deals on some Aaron scopes from WWA . Just not heard a lot about them..
Any one care to speak up. Be way cool If I can set the 22 and the 25 exactly the same,
Still need to do a shoot off of the 22, 25 Cricket and the 25 Marauder, Its coming people. If that Marauder shoots right with the 25 Cricket at 48 yards I will be doing a bullpup kit and a 500 cc air tank on it… Its only Money and I am not getting any younger,,,

Ernest being retired is making a fortune, good for him.

Winter, Its just now got to under 100 degrees here in West Texas, An now me have had rain and cloudy days the past week, My asthma does not like high humidity , And my shooting goes to crap when I have to take extra albuterol. ( I get the shakes) Oh I can shot sparrows but not one hole groups, :suprisedn: :suprisedn:
And the Aeon scopes are sounding pretty good. If My Hawke scope craps out on me , I will send it back its got a life time warranty ..
I still have to wait for the piggy bank to recharge,,, Money does not grow on trees unless your in the oilfield…

I just got the Aeon 4-24X50 scope from WWAG and it seems like a great scope…. for the money. My cricket is at Ernest’s getting a tune so I haven’t used the scope yet. It will be replacing a Hawke 6-24×50 that went south on me. My impressions of the Aeon scope are: Has nice feeling click stops on the turrets, focuses smoothly and accurately, seems to have good coating, weighs 2 oz less than the Hawke 6.5-20×40, comes with a lens shade. I got the Field Target Reticule, which I think I will like. I took advantage of the Labor Day sale and got the scope for $235. I wanted the Hawke 6.5-20×40 but couldn’t resist the deal on the Aeon. Hope it was the right decision.

Don

Better hurry on this test winters coming fast…
