The wood seem to be pretty decent, the finish is lacking a luster.
The Mags are similar to that of an MROD or FX style. they seem to be wound up pretty tight.
Now onto the PUP, The cocking lever opens relatively easy but when going to cam it shut theres a spots initially where it seems to catch.. kinda gets ruff. Otherwise it seems ok.
Most everything on this pup seems to be of Cast nature…. Not sure the life expectancy of the parts. but the gun does seem pretty durable.
The trigger is very heavy, and needs some loving… i like what they did with the safety its easy to use .
I filled the gun to 200 bar and the Gauge was spot on!!! :biggrinn:
By the time i got it all ready to take some shots on target it was pretty dark. I managed to get it on paper at 40 yards, but thats about it.
The gun does not have a ping. but it definitely has a bark. The Shroud has no baffles and not much air space. These are just some initial thoughts.
I plan on seeing what it can do out of the box. (i will be adjusting the trigger) got a busy weekend so not sure when i will be able finish.
I have some pics ill post when i get some time
Right on! I am getting mine this week, it’s on the way! I am going to offer custom parts for it, especially to tame that bark. The 45 yards groups with JSB heavies in the Pyramid Air review were impressive for it’s price point. Crosman better wise up or risk loosing market share.
