.25 lead free pellets.
Has anyone tried out the new Skenko “black max” lead frees yet. I just ordered a hundred for my condorized/ss with 21″ TT barrel and all (most) the goodies, she pushes black mambas at 800 fps, and was just curious if anyone else has tried them. I hunt turkeys and that’s my rifles primary purpose, and since I live in Chaosfornia I’m lucky to be able to use an airgun, but the lead ban is sure to happen soon and I’d like to know others’ experience with these pellets in regards to ballistics, accuracy etc. Also does anyone know any other lead free pellets available yet in .25? Thanks in advance!

Can’t help with the lead free pellets, but so far neither the old Condor zone lead-free rules or the upcoming statewide lead-free hunting rules apply to pellet guns; they only apply to firearms. That’s not to say it will never happen, but at this point it’s not on the horizon. So for now, you can fill those turkeys with lead.
