Mam’s sorting me out a 2000psi-output reg & adapter, and hopefully that’ll put the bell-curve to bed.

I’ve tried a heavy Jerry, one of your 6-rings. I got 779fps at approx 2900psi. 🙂

That looks like a great start. Given the opportunity to change anything/everything I might try a 80g hammer with no spacer or a higher fill pressure like 3300psi (assuming it is safe and won’t damage anything).

Then, when you get that string that starts at 950 climbs to 1020 and drops back to 950 ask Paul for some heavies to try!

Wanna see an initial climb, a decent plateau then a steady drop.

I’m with Pabs. Whilst It goes straight In at the full power I think It would be better to see the steady climb In power first. Makes sense to me that you’d get more usuable SPC that way too.

So what reg are you gonna be using and what output pressure? More importantly how are you fitting It to the stock bottle.

Tells me you are maxing the valve out from the get go. This would also imply that air is being wasted. Wanna see an initial climb, a decent plateau then a steady drop. If spring tension on the breech when not cocked feels nice and tight, time to lighten the hammer or stiffen that valve return spring. Using 45psi per shot is too much.

I question your logic. 😛

Cheers Mam, I’m pretty pleased with it. I’m hoping once I get the regulator on it I’ll have a whole bunch of 950fps shots right from start to finish. It’ll all depend on how much volume there is in the reg I guess.

Should be great with a reg..What size tank are you going to use?
I can’t wait for the American type Blodnob…The wait is killing me.

I’ll use the stock bottle to start with, if it’s all good I’m thinking of one of the 52c bottles from JDS Air.

Looks pretty nice Lang….That is some real FPS…70+ fpe…and a
bell curve…What more can you ask….Largest FPS deviation I see
is 9…quite respectable if not excellant….
