.25 stealth back up and running
So, after a whole new valve, breech, cocking arrangement, scope rail, barrel bushings and shortening the barrel to 20″ My gun is basically finished for a bit.
Here she is

I can tell you one thing, this valve is making some serious power, I’m getting valve lock until about 110 BAR, but at only 100 BAR or 1450psi i’m shooting JSB Kings 25.4 grains over 1020 fps. I have all ready zeroed in my scope so don’t fancy taking the barrel out to add more spring tension but if I could fully open the valve on a full 3000psi fill (or 3625psi which is what it is rated for) then I think I would be shooting into the 130-150 FPE without having stupidly heavy pellets.
I do get a twang from the hammer spring so I will have the barrel out soon enough and will add more tension to get it to open more. Looks like I will be getting myself some of Jerry’s slugs 🙂

I just bought a stiff spring, it is suppose to come soon, you want to borrow it for testing, I can send it to you when I get it, then you can make another hammer if you want???
