.25 Talon SS Nails Shooting Chrony at 1 Meter!!!
I took my Talon SS .25 out today with a new 110gr hammer, 25.4gr Exact Kings, PW at 12, and set up the “Shooting Chrony” to see what results I would get. Just curious to see if I needed a slightly stronger spring for the heavier hammer.
Starting at 2900 psi
1. 930
2. 979
3. 970
4. 976
5. err
6. 979 (psi now at 2700)
7. 978
8. err
9. err
10. 975
11. Shot Chrony in the display (psi now at 2600)
Chrony DOA.
I was sitting on a chair with the chrony set up on the rail on my deck. I guess I aimed a bit low on my target.
Well, I did get to enjoy ten minutes in the sun. I don’t lament the Chrony as it generally gave me as many errors as fps per shot. Next one is going to be a move up.
Meanwhile, 53.9 fpe at 978 fps is just going to have to suffice!
Kindest regards,
Uncle H 😯 😯 T
PS: Any thoughts on the spring? Seems like I should be breaking 1K fps at that fill and pellet weight.

It’s like riding a bike… If you haven’t fallen yet, you will.
…if you haven’t shot one yet, you will… LOL!!!
