Q:

.25 tethering question

im thinking about tethering a .25 condor to a 68 cu in 4500psi tank. ill have a prechamber that will be similar to a edge tank in looks and length, no reg on the prechamber. the reg on the tank will be set to 2800 psi. thoughts on this? would it work well?

thanks for the support guys- i am so excited to get this build going…been planing it since afghan almost 3 years ago! its only been recently that more and more ideas and parts have become available…now i just have to get back to the good ol US of A…ugh- these Japs dont like airguns that shoot harder than airsoft!! six more months…FML 😡

i think that would make for a more efficient setup. cleaner looking as well.

can’t wait to see the finished product.

x2, plenty of air for the shot, even with the gauge and filler attatched.

just double check your connections for integrity, and youre good to go 😀

that’s what i was hoping!! i didnt want to have a prechamber that’s just big enough for maybe two shots, i wanted to make sure the valve would have as much air as it needed to draw from! so i figured if i have an Edge size (maybe a little bigger??) tank as a pre chamber, the valve would have no problems. now here’s a thought i want to run by you both- I hope you’re both familiar with the Marauder? My thought is to have the male foster fill nipple mount inside/to the prechamber, like how the gauge mounts to the Marauder- would this work? i know i’d be cutting down on the internal volume a bit but i really dont want to thread the foster nipple directly to the tube. thoughts?

With a chamber that big it will shoot what your tank shoots at 2800 psi. It would work great.

sweet- i was hoping someone who’s thought about/done this would chime in… i was worried that just tethering a tank wouldn’t be sufficent and the setup would need more work than that. and now i am a step closer to my ultimate Condor…. 😈

shouldn’t be a problem. i’ve been wanting to do that to mine, for long sessions at the range. just haven’t gotten around to it, yet.
