.25 Vulcan2 owners
Ok, how many of you out there own the Vulcan2 in .25, and what’s your opinion on it?? Asking for a friend……… :biggrinn:

Nice and calm this morning so I thought I’d try some 34 gr at 50 yards
Larry, I just walked out to the barn and fired five shots, NO TWANG! I didn’t even think about it yesterday when I was shooting. I need to make my .22 Vulcan quieter. Rain today so no shooting.
Zonk, looks like you got a SHOOTER. Any twang with the V2?? I think I like the looks of the tactical stock, I am very tempted.

Ok, I got the gun. It’s real nice, handles great, feels great. So, I asked Matt to transfer cocking handle to the right side of the gun, said he would. Nope, still on the left side, no big deal, took five minutes to transfer. That target he send looked impressive, but, it was only shot at 30 yards. Velocity was 902 to 909 fps, Ok that’s fine too. So I go through entire gun, clean the barrel, lubricated where I thought it needed. Trigger was set at 8 to 9 oz, I can live with that until I have time to lighten it up to 4 oz. Mounted my new SWFA 10X side parallax scope, damn I love that scope. :8:
The 30 yard target was one jagged hole, not bad, but I like to test at 50 yards, so out goes a target to 50. After getting my scope zeroed at fifty, I settled down and got serious. I filled to 230 bar and my next 10 shots were under a dime. :biggrinn: Velocity was right where Matt said 902 to 909 fps. I shot another 50 yard group and it was just slightly bigger than a dime. My plan is to shoot at least 500 or so rounds through it before lapping the barrel and lighting the trigger. Weight on the .25 Vulcan is 9.8lbs with scope, weight on my .22 Vulcan with scope is 8.1 lbs.
I can’t wait to get over to the cattle barn with my 42 foot pounds of energy .25 Vulcan. The .22 my have to take a back seat for awhile. :winkn:
That would cost a lot more then two guns…. and my wife is way prettier then me.

As soon as it gets here Tuesday I’ll have a scope on it and shooting, unless it rains like their calling for. I’ll only have till Saturday as I’m leaving out of town for a week. :sadn:
