@Lurker

I ask because I suspected you were waiting on a Doig Noble Special too. I too hoped I could get a big shot to use my rifle, but to take a trophy amd picture of him with the rifle amd trophy.

I think I got my wish but shhhhhhh! I wouldn’t want to start somethimg that get out of control. I hope you get your wish. Check and seebif any competitions are coming up in his area and male the proposal. You never know, you may be surprised. Althoigh I’ve recently come to realize, these things are normally not about the money, you might offer to pay the entry fees for the competition or something like that.

When you get it post a pic and PM me to point me to the thread, if you don’t mind. Dougroundup and I have been kicking around a.257 Meet and Shoot with emphasis on “DNS” owners. What are your thoughts on it? You can PM me as not to hijack this thread.

Dporter,
Its been a while but ive added stuff a few times while Doug still has it in his shop. I hoped he or some other good shot would use it in competition so I could carve a notch in the CF tank. 😆

After I sent it off to the left coast I bought the forward cocking Vulcan .22. Bullpup. It amased me that the short Vulcan easily shot at least as good as my Condor rifles at 50 yards with me behind the trigger. Maybe its just the fit and feel that comes with with 3 Xs the price but it sure is fun. Then too, Im a nut that likes to take things apart whether they need it or not.

My advice to AF would be to get with the bullpup design as an additional high end product. Ive easily spent more on my one bullpup than I did initially on 2 AF Condors. They can count on us to help them improve on an AF BULLPUP especially if it is a semi auto. HINT…HINT

Back on topic, I dont know if i’ll be able to use a de-resonator but Im always looking ahead. Doug has somehow potted my ,257 barrel in carbon fiber sleve but now is messing with it for another addition…Shhhh! He may not want to part with it when it is done :mrgreen:

quote LURKER #1:

Thanks. I found a lot of Limbsaver bow stuff at the local big box store but nothing for rifle barrels.

When you get some time with it let us know what experience you have with it and how to adjust it.

Thanks for the reply.

Hey Lurker, who’s doing your .257 conversion, if I may ask?

Thanks for the reply.

It’s a Limbsaver for a standard barrel I got it on EBay for $11.They have one for a bull barrel,it has all the barrel size measurements in the description.

:whistle: ….. :popcorn:
