2nd Matador group O ring buy
OK guys, there have been a few new Matador owners that have asked me for an O ring kit. I am currently sold out and I need to send in another order to my supplier. I would like to get an idea of how many kits that I need to order.
The kit has 390 O rings in it and I think that it is a lifetime supply. If you would like one, you can post here, PM me or email me. I don’t want a payment now; I just need an idea of how many kits to order.
I don’t make any money on these kits! I just offer them because some of you guys don’t have access to “good” O rings.

I plan on ordering the O rings in about 2 weeks and it takes 2 weeks for me to get them.
The kits cover all of the Matadors, the R2.5 and the R3 in both 22 cal and 25 cal.
I prefer Pay Pall but, I will also take a money order or personal check.
The kits are $31 shipped in the US and $36 to anywhere else in the world.
I don’t plan on offering another group buy till late fall or early winter so, you guys that are waiting for your Matador might want to get in now.

Yoda, the probe O rings in the kit are 90 Duro hardness and last a whole lot longer than the softer stock ones! I shoot a lot and I had a pair on my 25 long that lasted at least 7,500-8,000 shots and were still going strong when I sold the gun.
I try to pull a couple of patches thru the barrel every 200-300 shots and after doing that, I add some silicone grease to the probe O rings. I use a finger to smear a little grease on the exposed parts of the O rings and use a toothpick to add a little grease in the pellet trough in front of each O ring so the bottom will also get greased.
I keep some silicone grease in my range bag and if I start getting the puff of air to the eye, I will add a little grease.
My O ring supplier recommends using silicone grease on the Buna N, O rings that I buy from them. They caution against using any petroleum products on Buna N, O rings. I don’t know if Lithium grease is petroleum based.

Can I be cheeky and OT 3 questions?
The 2 o rings on the shaft that pushes the pellet in to the breech (sorry don’t know the name),
1- how often do the need to be greased?
2- I suppose lithium gease for underwater cameras might be good.
3- how often do they need to be replaced? (when you push the shaft you can really feel they are rubbing ontothe barrel’s wall and doing their job, but this means they get worn..).

I got the O rings in yesterday.
Somehow, 11,700 didn’t sound like THAT many O rings.
I am gonna let my fingers and toes rest this weekend. I plan to start counting and sorting them next Monday and I hope to have them ready to ship next Friday.

OK guys, I just noticed that my O ring supplier debited my account for the O rings. Some of the O rings had a longer wait time than others. I asked them to wait till all of them were ready and then ship the complete order. Usually when they debit my account, it means that the O rings have shipped so; I expect to have them in a week or so.
The 30 kits will take me a couple of days to count and sort. They will cost $31 to the US and $36 anywhere else.
The first order took longer for me to try to match everybody’s TAG names, PMs, emails, Pay Palls and COMPLETE shipping addresses than it took to sort and count the O rings.
A couple of guys from across the pond forgot to add the country that they live in. THAT sounds like something I would do! 😆
I currently have 24 guys interested in a kit. I have the info that I need from 11. I would like the other 13 to EMAIL me with the asked for info. I am not in a hurry to get paid but, it would be a huge help to have complete shipping addresses printed out when I am putting the kits in envelopes!

The first time that I offered an O ring kit, I didn’t think that I would need 20 of them. They sold out quickly! I thought another 30 kits would last till fall and it is almost full. I won’t offer another group buy until fall, if you want a kit, get in now.
