30 mm scope elevation question and problem
I have an Air Force Condor and a 30 mm scope. When I try to mount the scope to the rifle…I have an elevation problem that cannot be corrected without a shim the height of 2 credit cards. No Good.
Any suggestions? Advice greatly appreciated.

What distance are you trying to zero at?
No they wont fit the Condor rail. You’ll have to get an 11mm to Weaver adapter to use with the high or medium Burris Signature rings (whichever ring that gives you the most comfortable scope hold).

The Leapers adapter is only 10$ vs the $42 bucks for the B-Square version. It’s up to you, but I think the Leapers version would probably do just fine!

Do they fit on the Condor dovetail or do I need an adapter??

I don’t know what kind of mount your using, but you could also try some Burris Signature rings with the poly inserts. They make offset inserts to correct your problem. It will fix the problem and give you more scope adjustment. I had the same problem on my custom Ruger 10/22. The rings fixed it right up.

Swap your mount front to back. And try again.

First thing i would do is try another scope and mounts. If problem persists, then look at the gun, barrel grub screws/bushings/etc.
If OK with another scope, make sure the 30mm mounts are the same height. If the mounts are properly matched, then you probably have a bad scope.

I would prefer to target shoot at a distance 35 to 50 yards…however…I am current cursed at killing rats at a distance of 10 yards to about 20 yards…
Flippin rats…So I am hunting this big mother rat…the mother of all my troubles…what does she do? Gets herself killed on the road in frount of my house! Then it goes from bad to worse…the children of this rat figure out I am trying to hunt them…so now they only come out at night…I guess I need night vision stuff…Then it goes from worse to horrible…at night my yard is filled with incompentent night hunters…cats and owls who also need night vision stuff…maybe I will just go to the hardware store and buy poision…and ebay my condor…
