Q:

30 YD groups Benji Trail XL1100 19 degrees–out 20 shots

ok so i decided im done trying to get a 30 FPE ram from crosman as Ive had 3 diff rams now and the original one is the most powerful at near 25 FPE
the best accuracy comes with Polymags in this gun with Dynamic TM2 pellets nipping at its heels
this group was shot at 30 yards, off a rolled towel , prone position, 15 mph swirling wind and 19 degrees out side
I was going to go for 50 shots at the bull but it was too cold so I stopped at 20
2 of the flyers I called as i knew i jerked when i shot but Still not bad for the conditions outside
the polymags are shooting at 830 average over 10 shots with a 8 fps spread
The majority of the pellets went into the same lil hole but a few went elsewhere
When it warms up to near 30 Im going to do some 50 yard testing!!

It just Click the trigger and Tunk the ram hits witha lil pop and thats it pellet is on paper
smooth quiet no Twang, rang, clickityclick or grinding just SMoooth as glass cocking and firing

i did however tune the gun
got the Maccari seal for the Walthers and installed along with a Debur on the sharp edges and honed the compression chamber befor a TINY but of seal lube

your numbers-accuracy/energy- mimic mine almost exactly, although i am using Crossman domes. ain’t no way NP XL 1100 is going above 25 fpe UNLESS SOME RADICAL WORK IS DONE ON IT

thats why i gave up on trying to get a better ram from crosman lol
i am happy with the groups anyways and the power will down a fox or coon with a well placed shot under 50

For a 25fpe gun at that range, you should be well proud. Very nice group…. and out of a relatively inexpensive gun, too….

Very nicely done!!
