308 conversion?
hey,
im just wondering what it would take to convert a condor into a .308.
using a LW .308Win barrel at 25″ long
using 165 gr hunters supply bullets

would it be effective at 100 yards it set up properly?
just want a run down on pros and cons.

I bought a .308 conversion from Cygnus. It has been so long since I chrony’d it I can’t remember the numbers. It is a pretty hot gun though. I cast 116 and 120gr slugs for it and IIRC they yielded over 200FPE. I thought that Cygnus told me this one had a DAQ .308 barrel but I can’t be certain. The valve is heavily modified to say the least.
If you do some searches, you might be able to find some of the stuff that Cygnus posted regarding his .308 work.

he has no mods to his valve …..imagine what could happen with a modded valve 😀

just planning for when i get my mill and lathe (60days)
probly by a new tank with a custom valve in it.

Cygnus got a brute of a 308 set up one time. Awesome thing. 100 yards wouldn’t be a problem.
