.30cal big bore PCP cast bullets
Ive found plenty of info on the .257 bullets but what .30cal bullets are you guys finding the best with what barrels and twist combos? Im looking to cast a few different bullets from 80gr to 130gr for my new .30 bullpup build but it seems the lee moulds are about the only options out there.. can anyone point me in the direction of some other suitable moulds? Im running a .3075 1-14″ twist Australian made Black Mountain match barrel with Lyman 105gr spitzers with a HP mod sized to .308 and getting about 1.5″ at 100y with 5 shots Av 900fps but I think it could do better with a flat or round nose.

There are a few rebated boat tails designed by Bob Sterne at Accurate Molds. If you give Tom the alloy, he can cut the mold to drop where you want.

A 14″ twist will be more than adequate; IIRC the 110 is above a stability factor of 1.5 in an 18″ twist barrel right at Mach. I plan to use Doug’s 14″ TJ liner with these two in my 308 Marauder build…:) err…build around a Marauder trigger more like it though
cheers,
Douglas
