.410 shotgun condor !!!
well while i was at work tonight i was in the freezer for 11 hours and i have a lot of time on my hands to think and shit
well i had an idea i thought is it possible to make a 410 shotgun condor?
my idea is get a .410 barrel fixed or screw in choke dont matter
take an airforce barrel cut it off just past where the breech rides weld the 410 barrel onto the airforce stub and weld it true
bore out the airforce stub for max flo
make a set of barrel bushings for the barrel
load it like a muzzleoader use a 410 wad pour in shot and then a shot holding wad ontop of the load “ram” it down the barrel like you would do to a muzzle loader and then ur ready
would this possiblyt work?
is there a flaw i am missing somewheres?
if the barrel is to large for the airforce stub a bushing could be made that would be a perfect match for both barrel and stub to get a perfectly trued aligntment and then put the bead of weld to secure it in
let me hear your thoughts on this guys if it is possible i may have to start looking for a 410 barrel and have this thing put together

I made some small plastic “shells” that I would put wadding in then shot and more wadding …the would be breach loaded like a pellet since they had a hole all the way thru when the trigger was pulled both waddings and the shot would fly down range….but it was very inaccurate so I shelved it..
Must have had diarrhea thus the brain storm about a shotgun 💡 💡
PS Could start with the fix-ens for .22 cal shot shells and move on to Junk Yard Loads of fletchits(sp) ie small rods and shot mixed.

This might make A good rattle snake gun. Next time you are ( taking care of business in the freezer ) give some thought to how to make a shroud for it to quieten it down a bit. With A chocked barrel it should be several inches before the shot spreads much.

I have a Barnes Woodsman .62 smoothbore that does quite well as a shotgun. .62 is very close to 20ga. I make shot shells that are then muzzle loaded. I know a guy with an .87 that just loads the wad and pours the shot down the barrel followed by another wad, it works.
You need a lot of airflow to make it work well because delivering shot is not as efficient as using a slug. I can kill birds a squirrels out to 25 yards or so but I’ve never seen an air shotgun in a smaller ga. work all that well.
