421 yds-On Steel-2" GROUP
Hi all,
Taken last week when I shot the 326 yd video. After that drove to 421 yd Turkey line. 10 shots on steel, 7 shot cluster 1 moa with all 10 a tad over 1.5 moa. There was a breeze that moved them ……….I didn’t have any flags and ONLY what I felt but nothing to indicate on way to target. Those little live plants are tough, not weeds but woody like sagebrush as it grows there so takes some breeze to indicate wind. All custom build. Just the purchased stripped AifForce Frame, which includes the trigger and breech/bolt……All else is sourced parts by me, and built by a gunsmith that builds WINNING 1000 yd F-Class Competition Rifles. And he does not build airguns. He has built me about 6 rifles and did the machining and fitting I wanted to this rifle.. I assembled and tuned it ………..Carl

Thanks………If you don’t have the room really don’t need one….But NEED AND WANT are NOT the same t :winkn: hing. I get very bored with the same things……..This to will eventually bore me silly….. If I physically can, will push again this summer to BETTER ACCURACY all through the same distances, if gun will do it? I think it can…….Will see as it is a LOT of work to set up at these longer distances, hope someone else doesn’t want to shoot too and that ends my day……Plus that long range is a 140 mile round trip for me…..Will eventually just use local range 20 minutes from home. But only 225 yds for targets and have a Steel plate you can’t go to at 300 yds but can hear gun hit the steel. Will see what stunts i do this year……..I already have shot clays at 580 yds with last years gun……..

I CALL BS! You faker! I will need you to take me to verify this accuracy! Lol man your gun is awesome brother. Keep the videos coming. Making me want to get a 257 more and more. But i have abosolutly no need or place to shoot past 200 yds. Nice shooting dude.
Can post pics now……Had to upload to Photo Bucket when we used to be able directly from our computer……Now more steps required.
When I went to the 421 yd Turkey….Didn’t put out camera till I shot and got elevation for the clays I put out…..Then went to turkey and here is a pic of 5 shots with a 72 gr slug. Measured 2″ @ 421 yds and wind had also lay calm…..I go well that works and go down and set up video. Well wind picked up and I went to the 85 gr bullet on above video………Here is still pic I took after I went to set video……Was aiming at black marker..Placed red spotter for pic
Your attachments at bottom as ALWAYS was ADD, BROWSE and from own computer. highlght and hit LOAD . It shows the file before you hit enter by name being loaded, but nothing comes up……..So it ISN’T so simple ………..I do not have pictures on PHOTO BUCKET..This website use to, and others when you hit BROWSE can take from your computer files…….SO THAT DOESN”T WORK ANYMORE.
Have lots of files, groups, pics can’t share now…..

Carl, i remember those 1065 yd shots. That was nuts. Very good shooting to hit a target at that range with anything.

Thank You……..I put 2 clays out, and yes I broke them both…Had camera back in car and before loading up broke them. Yes the gun has retained power down range. If I could post pics, can’t since forum change, follow directions and WON’T…I could show smashed bullets captured from my steel plate last years adventure to 1065 yds. 600 yds and in the slugs just turn to dust. At 700 yds started finding flattened with maybe 1-2 petals of the blossom as they fully mushroom. 800 yds found some totally mushroomed…….905 yds a 92 gr completely smashed the base in to the plate and perfect mushroomed bullets the size of a quarter..1065 they smashed a little over half way. Yes it is powerful…….Can get 224 fpe but am shooting heavy bullets now around 200 fpe and more accurate. Lighter ones 72+ gr about 180 fpe.

Very nice! Bet ya cant hit the clay pigeon in the back ground. Lol man that thing still has a ton of pep when the rounds hit the target. Great shooting.
