45 fpe disco pistol(edit added pics)
well i finally got my disco pistol in 18 inch bbl finished
i filled it to 2200 psi
shot a string
1= 1062
2= 1023
3=1001
4=982
5=971
6 = i hit the edge of chrony and it richoched into my 500 watt flod light
so i cant chrony till its sunny out or i get a new light
these where shot with .22 cal crow mags at 18.1 grains
i wasnt expecting this high of numbers
the valve is a B&A Maxflow disco valve
and its on a 226 tube
i wanna shoot more over a chrony but that seemed high
and befor the long bbl disco string i shot my 7.5 incher and the numbers were exactly where they have been so i know the chrony is ok

well the top one has some plans in the works for sure just not sure which way i am going yet 😉
taking the family out for a 4 wheeler ride in a while the small one is going to be in my pocket
last week we went for a nice 2-3 hr ride and say grouse , rabbit, crow, squirrel wish i had the gun then
they wife and kids ride in a dogsled looking rig we made to hitch up behind the fourwheeler to go in snow and i drive so i will be locked and loaded 😈

Awesome! I’m jealous. I was fantasizing that I found that gun case under my Christmas tree and opened it up just now 🙁 These pistols must be fun as you hardly ever see them for sale. True keepers. Nice work.

the smallone is a 17 fpe 7.5 inch disco valved 22xx
the big one is avg 40 fpe 18 inch bbled 2260 tube disco valve
i am working on a stock for the long bbl to make it a take down carbine
That is some nice energy there. I will be looking for one of those pistols soon. I wanted a 22xx or 25xx, but many people say the discovery is the way to go for a powerful pistol…Keep pics and results coming bro.
