4500 psi CF tank
Will this tank work for our guns ?

Yup, same thing. It’ll hold about half a gallon of water, or 88 cubic feet of air if you compress it to 4500.
Same thing you see with the tank at the top. 88 cubic inches isn’t all that big (less than a five inch cube), nothing like the volume of air inside when it’s released.
It’s confusing because the guys that use HPA tanks (like Firefighters) could care less how big it is inside, they want to know how much it weighs and how much air it carries. Sometimes they’re rated in minutes even, 88 cubic feet to the hour.

the 144cc refers to tank internal volume. Translates into 88cf of compressed air at 4500psi. = lots of fills. U got the good one. 😀

That means you have a bigger tank then you thought!
Doing a little math and referring to the AirHog refill calculator, the Wal*Mart tank will give you 3 refills from 1500 psi to 3000 psi. Good for toting in the field but not sure of the adapters and the regulator on the tank.

Okay..clear something up for me … I purchased this tank from Straignt Shooters a while back thining it was a CF45 88 and now the last time at the dive shope I was old that I have a CGF 45 144. that is what is says on the bottle.. amd I missing something here..

That tank is very small as others have already stated. Not to mention it has an reg with an output pressure of 800 psi, and our guns operate at 3,000 psi or less.
Joe Brancato usually has several in stock, good guy to deal with. Also Tim at Mac1 occassionally gets some, but they go fast. Might give either one a call. I’ve bought one from each of these guys and A+ guys to do business with.
Ok, I see my mistake – Cubic Inches, not cubic feet. Looking for a large cheap 4500 psi tank to refill with.

Yeah you should get about .6 fills from that tank. maybe less… give or take .6 🙂
What do you want to do with it? Are you going to use it for refills or do you want to use it on the gun itself? If its for refills you can use it but will need some adapters. Its not very big so you wont get very many fills out of it.

Thanks guys.. tt is good to know just what I have.. Imagine the fellow at the dive shop tried to tell me that it was a 144 cubic ft… I thought I had something really special for a while there.. ha
