50 yard 5 shot group…squirrel about an hour later…

Charged up to 2800 today and started sending some jumbo’s off the porch. First five shots @ 50 yards pictured.
Tree rat came out to check things out @ around 20 yds. Body shot but she dropped like a rock and didn’t move.
Cleaned her later w/my seven year old watching. She told me she wanted to make her a squirrel purse and I said I’d give it a whirl.
Since she’s home schooled, and most inquisitive, we turned it into a patho lesson. Was able to identify lungs, heart, diaphragm, intestines, stomach, kidneys and, of course, colon/rectum.
Pretty good day….just hope she doesn’t have nightmares tonight like she did when she saw me kill the bunny!!
