Q:

50 yard groups Compact, THE BABY

The Baby has a SWFA 12×42 mounted in Leupold cantilever zeroed at 50 yards. Like the Leyla this is not the easiest gun to shoot off a bag. I think my results would have been far better if the gun was put in a proper vice. I think Donnie just picked up a vice that will accommodate the Baby. The Compact was Killing shotgun shells at 55 yards almost every shot with a few misses.

This is sub 1/2 inch at 50 yards. Two groups of 5 shots.

This is 5 shots 50 yards.

The Range

The Baby

almost holer 5 shots 20 yards.

sub 1/4 inch 5 shots 20 yards

Especialy his wife.

Agreed my gun is not 100% either still breaking in and making hst adjustments.

Oak…

I think that u will find this barrel takes some breaking in…

Not sure how much lead you have slung out it. Give her a good cleaning and keep going … they will tighten up more.

I haven’t shot mine at 50 yards but I can shoot it at 40 yards with all 5 shots touching. Usually around .350 group ..

I did take a pest off a post at 78 yards with no issues (one shot drop)…

I also have mine turned up to shoot at 840 fps with 18.1s

I get a good solid 30 shots or more on the regulator.

Yes I do a few guys have barrels from the manufacturer we are testing. Outside this I am not at liberty to say. However this barrel is as accurate as my first baby barrel. If there was no damage to my bore on my first gun I would still own that gun but I am one of the guys who had issues. Not everyone has had barrel problems with their orginal Compact. This is one GREAT gun that is why I bought another for me just a blip on the day to day of trying to obtain the perfect PCPs to full fill my needs.

Nice groups Oak. Do you know what barrel is on your shorty?
